Moodboards
Personal Moodboard
I created this moodboard as a way of visually showing who I am and what makes me who I am. At the centre there is the word 'Passion'. I believe that at the centre of who I am is passion - I am a very passionate person in every aspect of my life. I am passionate with my interests, my career and my relationships.
Around the centre I placed photos of my family, Portugal, New York, London and fashion. My family, including my boyfriend whom I live with, are the most important people in my life. They are always in my heart with every decision I make. Portugal is a big part of who I am too because that is where I was born and spent half of my life. My family, excluding my parents and brother, live there and because of that, as well as my history with it, Portugal is 'home' to me just as much as my house is. New York is my dream city and I take great inspiration from its busy and exciting lifestyle; one of my biggest dreams is to visit, and maybe even work in New York. London is where I live, and where I dreamt of living as I grew up. I worked very hard to be able to live in London, and so it will always be a very important and symbolic place for me. Finally, I live and breathe fashion - I think about it all the time. My dream is to go up the Fashion Buying ladder and to experience most, if not all, fashion jobs. I see fashion, and the impact of fashion, everywhere I look.
The surrounding images represent things and people I adore and admire. This includes:
- My favourite musicians: Niall Horan, Shawn Mendes, and Harry Styles.
- Food that I love: sushi, chop suey, pizza, and chocolate cake.
- Drinks I adore: chocolate shakes, iced almond-milk lattes, and iced water.
- An icon to me, Zendaya.
- The beach, the ocean and sunsets.
- Books and reading, including fashion books and magazines.
- The movie Tangled that I re-watched constantly growing up.
- The TV series 'The Vampire Diaries' that I have watched five times so far.
- My favourite flower, Roses, especially in my favourite colour blue.
Authentic Self versus Digital Self
Personal Instagram Account
Instagram is the social media I use the most. My 'authentic self' is who I display on social media. I post photos that make me feel confident and that I like. These photos also tend to be in places I find beautiful or meaningful in some way. I have photos taken in London, Torquay, Chard in Somerset (where I moved from), Lousã in Portugal (my hometown) and Paris.
My 'story highlights' on Instagram are of two cities I love, London and Paris, my boyfriend, fashion, and moments I had that I feel are interesting to post.
This is my personal account and so it is quite self-centred, however I feel like what I find important to post accurately reflects who I really am.
Fashion Instagram Account
As well as my personal Instagram account, I have an additional account reserved for all things fashion. I created this account earlier in 2022 because I wanted it to be a memoir of my fashion progress; the aim was for this account to enable me to reflect on how much I have improved and how much knowledge I have gained over the years. This fashion journey account has become crucial in who I am due to me always searching for topics to post on my story and my feed.
Using this account I follow mostly fashion brands and individuals connected to fashion, therefore I find it very inspiring scrolling through my feed. I regularly add to my story posts from brands I admire, such as fashion outfits and sustainability explanations and tips that I find useful and enticing.
Fashion is everything to me and so this account authentically represents me.

Runway Shows
These are QR codes of two of my favourite runway shows for Spring/Summer 2023. I find runway shows extremely inspiring and captivating. Watching some runway shows makes me feel like my heart is on fire, in a good way! I hope I will one day be able to watch them live.
