Fantasy First
In class, in groups, we were asked to choose between five 'Big Ideas'. These were Injected Eco, Fantasy First, Posi-Tech, Digi-Craft, and Take Away. We chose Fantasy First which involved ideas of an escapist world, the wildest dreams, imagination, experimentation, whimsical and fantastical design, and the concept of tapping into all the senses. As a group, we brought all of these ideas together and created a trend moodboard and a colourboard. The market we chose was womenswear and so this is what we adapted the moodboard to. For the colour board, we chose six core colours for the trend that are displayed more prominently and bigger in size. We chose additional six colours (displayed at the top of the second page) that would serve as mid-tones or highlights for this season. These colours were taken from the image moodboard to create the overall trend of Fantasy First.
