Notting Hill/ Westbourne Grove
My group and I got given the fashion district Notting Hill/ Westbourne Grove at university to go explore. This area could be summarised in few words: colourful, cultural, vibrant, and unique!
Notting Hill was full of independent shops; there was an abundance of unique hospitality and retail businesses. A distinct characteristic of this area was that the majority of clothing shops were vintage.
This fashion district was very inclusive and welcoming - everyone seemed glad to be there. People dressed very different to each other. Some individuals dressed casually, while others wore formal attire, and some wore bolder and edgier clothing.
Below is the powerpoint that my group and I created for our presentation in university about this great fashion district.
Shoreditch
I chose to visit Shoreditch due to it being known as the place that has some of the best street art in all of London. I am fascinated by the creativity and individuality that street art offers; I find this kind of art beautiful because of all the colours and life it brings.
Shoreditch did not disappoint. With its creative and independent clothing shops, diverse restaurants, and bright streets, Shoreditch became one of my favourite fashion districts due how energetic it was.
